If things were the way they were meant to be, would our lives be altered?
Please Remember

Please remember those days without end
Such a simple time
Being a child I mean
Everything black or white
Day or night

We cried, we laughed, but never gave in
To true unhappiness I mean
The wind in our hair
The grass under our feet

The mind of a child is the most complex thing
Why?
Because there’s no source of pain or suffering
Why?
Because they are ignorant of the world around them
Ignorance is truly bliss

I wish you could no, would remember those times we spent together
So we could be children yet again
And live our lives simply for the sake of living

I hate to say you never forgot me
Your feeling towards me have just altered
Your once unconditional love for a close friend has diminished
Now we are but bitter enemies
And that’s truly unfortunate

So please just remember me, no remember us
The way things used to be
Just you and me
