A poem about lies and how they can hurt people whether they dark are white lies.
Luminous lies, sparkle when told
beautiful until they slowly unfold
cornering people, making them weak
telling that lie and turning your cheek
covering truth with veils dark and thick
knowing they're told makes me feel sick
to keep from burdening or hurting them
when reality sets in you can't possibly win
