Mortal enemies, loving and hating each other with a passion. sequal possible!=)
We two are mortal enemies.
opposite sides of the same coin.
If we pass each other,
it would be with our customary sneer,
the usual haughty, inapproachable air surrounding us,
practically daring the other party to speak up first.

Both of us are peerless in beauty.
I can say without needing to be egocentric,
my Japanese ivory skin, with my pitch black hair, coloured with silver streaks,
renders me a beauty unrivalled.
my young age of nineteen lends me a inner radiance.
I must say, my attractiveness has made me careless,
Heedless of men's eyes and stares,
and so i remain untouched.

Although I must admit,
you are striking, not to say the least.
your obvious experience with guns and daggers is testimony to your watery grace.
I should know, i handle them myself.
your lithe body equipped to throw opponents charging at you.
we both are a rarity in this dour school,
masters of what we do best, secret commanders of separate fractions,
whose arguments run far beyond the grounds of the school.

My martial arts background giving me a fierce beauty.
Your background remains a black hole,
lending you a air of mystery.
everyone knows you're not simply a school student.
you are mature beyond your years.
and perhaps that would account for the scores of girls falling for you,
falling for your absent smile, your disregard, your amazing good looks.

but of course, i would never fall prey to your looks.
I'm more than that.

Finally,
one fatal day.
Your side strikes my party a vital blow during a turf fight.
I'm forcibly captured, transferred to your side,
and imprisoned by you.
to ensure I don't leave by my free will,
I'm thrown into your house, to be forever under your watchful eye,
to squash any threat i pose.

Horrified at my situation, yet unwilling to show any sign of fear,
I glare mutinously at you.
you glare back, both of us taking no pleasure in this.
mortal enemies having to live under one roof?
but granted,
he has the advantage, being the imprisoner.
and I, the imprisoned.
However if i were to be careful,
I might be able to to overpower you, turning the situation to my favour.
As my mind races with multifold possibilities,
your black pupils intently stare at me, eyes daring me to do what I can,
silently warning me that it wouldn't be enough.

words were unexchanged,
but enough was said.

you fling me into your room on impulse, seemingly unable to bear the sight of me any longer.
I hear the click of the door lock.
even with me willing myself not to cry,
I taste the saltiness of my tears.
I hang my head, hating myself, and you with a passion.
