A poem about a man changing and/or dealing with sudden events.
The one that once felt trapped is now freed
All the anger and sorrow that would make him bleed
Endless attempts to bring her back have now fell short
Realizing his emptyness now has nothing to report

To be around her is an urge once demanded
He has become anew now his feelings are understanded
Twisting and turning, helpless in his bed
Waiting for that familiar voice to fill his head

She puts on a front trying not to show her sadness
Still hurting inside beneath all her madness
Succlusion has always been her drug
But he knows all she needs is a warm shoulder, a hug

Relentless attempts to fill her void
She is waiting for definate change but still annoyed
His devotion once mistaken is slowly making face
So strong in his convictions trying not to chase

Bleeding heart without any stitches
Whats needed is her love not fame or riches
Just one chance to prove hes on the right track
No room for diversions for his soul she will attack

Time is his enemy in this quest for what is lost
He wont step aside trying to reach her at any cost
Shades of light have become so dim in the distance
Enough to keep him engaged without any resistance

One day he will wake n' roll over in his bed
Feel her presence, lean in, kiss her forehead
To feel her love again without any remission
All he can do is wait, give her space, awaiting a final decision

Tender kisses, undying love, are a thing of their past
Looking towards the future, the only way it will ever last
Trying so hard to bring back what was once his
What is needed now is new love sealed with a kiss
