I feel empty inside, I am growing ice cold, from the inside out
I feel empty inside
no warmth to this heart,
which has long since grown cold,
cast forever, laying still,
as if carved of stone,
ice has grown over,
nipping with a hateful chill.

Torrents of tears follow,
I stand at the brink, wondering,
why won't my beating heart still
each falling tear, turning to frost.

This heart once made of gold,
frozen to the touch,
waiting for warmth to thaw.

As I lay still, thinking thoughts of you,
my once heated blood, turns to ice,
the memories start to fade,
forever will I turn this way.

Solid, completely ice cold,
as if engraved within smooth stone,
just a hollow shell, I am empty
till I find you again, I am shallow
seeking my mind for the one,
who touched my heart, showing me warmth
