a letter to my edditor, my parents
To whom this may consern,
Their is yet another war that is secretly going on
in the United States of America. I came across this
war in my younger years. A fight that is so silent that
the majority of the public do not know what is happening
right next to their own homes. Only people who have strict
parents as a child or are still in that same boat know this
war all too well. The crip of an overprotective parent who will
not let go. Almost grown and the gardian still has the death
hold. The war I am speaking of is every child's war. A war
for independence. While I do not have personal insight on all
the other children's war I will share some of my own with you.

They do not let you do much as a child and as you
turn sixteen years or older they begin to panic. You ask to
go to the movies or a friends they shut your plans down by
grounding you. No trust in their eyes between them at all.
They have a problem called control. They just do not know
how to let go. Have no fear the war will end just as soon as
you assert your independence for yourself. My insight of
my own war for independence.
