my entry for the poetry pond
As I sit here and ponder,
Who I am; what I see.
I realize that, despite me
I am  free from the spell,
that bound me to solidarity.

For once I am happy,
I have no fears; no shame.
I can finally be me,
whoever that may be.

This feeling comes fervently,
for you must see,
I am not the person
I used to be,
No longer bound to immaturity.

I stand here, for you to see,
No longer the person
you thought me to be.
No longer bound to insufficiency.
