Self explanitory

One I thought loved me..

Rage burns through a gapping hole in me.
The frail edge of my screaming soul is alight with red flaming embers from the insanity.
How can it be possible that he who decreed his love for me.
Can so easily destroy me.
To see in your lovers eyes the glee as he hungrily devours my dignity.
I stand still in time, my heart freezes instantly.
He is the devil that they all believe.
He who vowed to protect me, bashes and bruises me
Betrays the last of my trust as he attempts to jail me.
All that is love and good and kind is now a blackened, discarded memory.
A fantasy, a dream I once dreamed, never a reality.
He has always lied to me and once again,
His cold, callous knife mercilessly tortures me.
My heart cracks, I cant believe he is killing me.
Sucking my soul for his own selfish needs.
I despise his true weakness that lies hiding behind
a guise of false humanity.
He lays me indignantly before the altar, so easily he sacrifices all we could be,
So easily he watches me bleed.
His justification, simply -
Im not what he wants me to be.
His defense -
insecurity.
My lesson –
stupidity,
To ever have believed in one such as he.
One I thought loved me.
