what we take for granted
What is sunlight to a blind man's eye's?
What is moonlight if you can't see the sky?
We take for granted mother nature's palette,
Which she painted for the lucky sighted to stare and look at.

What is sound to a deafened ear?
What is a song when it's something you can't hear?
Take some time to stop and listen,
Realize that even a simple clock chime is a fortunate blessing.

What is love without heartache and pain?
What is a tender touch that you may never feel again?
Everyone has the chance to be happy in pair's,
And feel feeling's for someone special that far outweigh care.

What is life if you live in sadness?
What can be nice and not bring you happiness?
Printed paper money can't buy your health,
Which is worth much more than all the world's wealth.

We find it hard to appreciate all the simple thing's we've been given for free,
While we dedicate our way's and conduct into being someone that we want to be.
