passing years reflection poem poetry
I know it -
years whispered away,
quietly.
I never knew
I would age.
Here I enter the phase -
reflection, regrets, memories,
tears.

I am weary,
this Capricorn drive,
knowing childhood would arrive
late in life:
energy, plans, travels,
acceptance of infinity........giggles..

I know it, I have made the journeys,
loved deeply, lost despairingly,
giving up, but breathing..

These words have no point,no purpose......

Years whisper, butterflies.emerge,
birthings of baby sparrows...
I see the world,
confused, but I will fly,
afraid,
Ialways afraid.

Now I have wisdom,
melancholy,
tears,
a deep understanding
of family
a bond..

Feeling my Mom
hold me,
loving, encouraging life,
changes, passing time, seconds,

Reflections,
perhaps peace,
asking how have I made it this far;
time is a clock,
years are man made.
Wisdom is all;
The finest gift God gave me.

A latre night reverie:

I will count the stars as blessings;
the shooting star as renewed faith,
a strangers smile or baby's cry ,
as their beginnings.

It is their time to hear the whisper of the years,
the bountiful energy of youth;
the yearning to explore the wonderful earth,
sky and sea.

I reflect tonight,
I feel at peace.{c:/blue]

God Bless.
