To my brother, Joshua. He is greatly missed.

When I close my eyes at night,

I hear your voice call me near,

into a flickering, white light,

that clouds around me without fear.

I know you've left so long ago,

and we hope you made it home,

still I wonder if you know,

you were never left alone.

Though I see you in my sleep,

I pray that God will keep you near.

Our memories i will keep,

for always, will they be dear.

Now drift away into this night,

to say hello where others lie.

Though you leave me with each sight,

never, do we say goodbye.
