The price of becoming a gangster is sometimes steep - real steep.
Bomp, bomp, bomp
It’s Markus’ favorite sound
Bomp, bomp, bomp
A basketball hitting the ground
Bomp, bomp, bomp
Already he’s a prodigy star
Bomp, bomp bomp
They say he will go very far
Bomp, bomp, bomp
On every neighborhood court
Bomp, bomp, bomp
He is the king of this sport
Bomp, bomp, bomp
Next year is only junior high
Bomp, bomp, bomp
If he keeps it up, he’ll get by
Bomp
The bounce ceases
The round ball is hurled
It is the end
Of his basketball world
The gangsters have no use
For such a foolish game
While Marcus takes on
A cool new name
For in this realm
Cool Z don’t give a damn
The last thing he hears
Is bam, bam, bam
