this is about a father who is an alcoholic, and the daughter is hurt and dissapointed.

When I need you most

Growing up without you
Never knowing what to do
You’re supposed to be my hero
But out of ten you’re a zero
Loneliness fills the air
Thanks for acting like you care,
You grab the bottle and take another shot
Never getting out of the same old spot
I tell you how I feel
You get real angry and I’m just being real
You get real mad start calling me mean names
One again I am ashamed
When I need you most you walk away
I’m all alone because you won’t stay
Who will walk me don’t the isle
You think you’re normal, you’re in denial
I’m getting mad again
No I’m not okay, I won’t pretend
Other people have perfect lives, I wish I had
But that can’t be possible with out you dad
