A 55 word fiction
A high school boy asked his teacher for permission to go to the bathroom. The teacher said yes. The boy left but a minute later he screamed and came running back to class, his face was completely white.
“What happened?” the teacher asked.
The boy shivered in his seat.
“It was dark.” he cried out.
