A true dancer lost in the moment.
The dancer
She loses control,
Of her mind, her body, her feelings, her emotions
Sweet revenge, unkown to all but the dancer.

She spins
mindlessly
She is blind, she is deaf,
She has no say,
The music controls her,
She must dance till the end.

A flash of light,
A beat,
She moves silently across her stage,
Her audience is the world,
Yet to her she is invisible.

The dancer,
Admired by all but herself,
She does not see, she does not know,
She has no urge to understand.

For she is the dancer,
She has no control,
The music flows through her,
The fight leaves her ,
She surrenders herself to the music.

Yet,
The music stops,
She falls suddenly,
Silence punctuated by her breathing,
Deep, slow breathing.

Her audience rise to their feet,
The silence is broken as the applause thunders,
She does not hear it, she does not see them,
She dares not to understand.

For she is the dancer.
Her audience is the world.
And this is her sweet revenge, unkown to all but the dancer.
