Cramp entry: A bithday themed poem, without the letter "t"
Prompt: Birthday themed poem; Write without the letter "T"

We were so prepared --
We snuck in candles and cake.
Boxes we wrapped by moonbeams,
Before our Sarah did wake.

We spared no expense --
Only once would she be four,
All our princess desired . . .
A childhood gala galore!

Ice cream and cookies,
Banners, bows, balloons . . .
We admired our handy work.
We were such buffoons!

Sarah smiled a mile,
donning a sparkling pink dress.
Well-behaved and gracious --
Our ball would be a success!

Kids laughed and hollered,
Moms and dads awarded praise:
"A dumpling-do beyond compare!"
"Such an angel you have raised!"

Sarah welcomed all,
as foil fell in glimmered heaps:
Barbies, blocks, snowcone-maker,
crayons, play-dough, planes and jeeps!

Finally came cake --
We packed 'round like sardine-fish.
Eyes closed, she snuffed four flames,
and soundlessly made her wish.

Her dress came flying up!
(We guessed she was being silly.)
Wails of agony followed ---
. . . Daddy's girl had wished for a "willie"!
