A cretin of society they say
a freak in his own way
broken down he lays
a pending debt he must pay
stoned to death in the month of may
but not today
for life is my keeper of liberty
my mantra of hope
condescends a tight knit rope
hung by the words he wrote
places doubt on the life he spoke.
