A poem about the love between the moon and sun as we watch from below
The methodical pulse of water
On weather tormented shores
Pulls my eyes towards the heavens
And the skirt of darkness discreetly poured.

So high the crystal maiden sits
To guard the gentle shadows creep
And the stars gayfully playing
To rest on blackened sea

But oh when the secret hour is nigh
When night shall greet the day
Orb of silver awake the light!
And night to a glorious gray

For Sun seems shy to spread his light
And dusk in heaven stays
But when the sun shall add his might
The glory of the day.

And sadly to see her go
So ends another sight
But with one last kiss of gentle light
He will see her again this night.
