My first and last attempt at a poem that doesn't rhyme.

I’ve always heard it said
That eyes
Are windows to the soul.
Through them
You can look inside someone
And see
What lies within their heart.
So now
Here in your embrace
Wonder
Fills my soul.
For
In your eyes
I see
Me.
