In search of myself, a short meander through vapidity
Who, therefore, am I?
From whence have I come?
Is there a place that's mine to claim?
Is there one in whom I can place my trust?
I doubt that all the truth's been told.

Whose lips shall fact in fact reveal?
Can I believe, dare I conceive?
In lies that drip from lips with ease?
How can life exist betwixt all these?
When life seems determined to deceive?

Who knows the value of my worth?
