Cocooned in pitch black...
Cocooned in pitch black, until birth
First light, time to explore planet earth
Awake and wondering, where has everyone gone?
What awaits me? When I journey beyond the boundaries that I call home
Screams of desperation, breaks the silence of night
Dense fog hovers over cool waters, as I make my way against the turbulent currents, treading water with all my might
Gasping for air, tiredly, I move forward
Freedom lies just ahead, triumphant, my reward
Utopia perhaps, but only for those who survive
Many before me have vanished, diving off these mystical cliffs, deep into the jaws of the abyss
