Wrote this while I was listening to the rain after a bad day.
The drops, they burn my face.
They come pouring down.
The sun was shigning brightly,
but is now hidden behind a cloud.

What happened to the sky?
When I awoke it was clear blue.
But now, it's black and stormy,
hectic, strong, angry looking, too.

The thunder rumbles loudly,
the lightning's purest white.
It stretches far across the sky,
a sliver of flashing light.

The rain gets soaked up by the ground.
It seeps up silently,
there is no sound.
But the thunder is roaring,
still, and loud.

I am breathing heavily,
the tears have finally ceased.
They've been rolling down my face
for hours on end, at least.

I am breathing shallowly,
and now, I've finally stopped.
I've gone through too much pain,
but that's done and over now,
because my heat has popped.

Shh...
Listen to the Rain.
