introduction to our story
    ADDICTION
  Main Entry: ad·dic·tion
Pronunciation: ə-ˈdik-shən, a-
Function: noun
Date: 1599
1: the quality or state of being addicted <addiction to reading>
2: compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance (as heroin, nicotine, or alcohol) characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal; broadly : persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful

Knowing the definition to something doesn't mean you understand it. Unless you have experienced an addiction you will can't understand what it is. This is personal, and extremely hard for me to write, because it is all truth and fact. The only thing I hope to gain from this is to tell my story and hopefully help another person with an addiction to overcome it. Before I can tell you my story you need to understand what I was addicted to. On the streets it could be ice, go fast, speed, meth I could go on, but I won't.

METHAMPHETAMINE

Main Entry: meth·am·phet·amine
Pronunciation: ˌme-tham-ˈfe-tə-ˌmēn, -thəm-, -mən
Function: noun
Date: 1949
: an amine C10H15N used medically in the form of its crystalline hydrochloride especially in the treatment of obesity and often used illicitly as a stimulant —called also methedrine

That definition makes me laugh. Something so harmful leathal and addicting be summed up in a single definition.  This can not be called my story, but Steven's also. This is about an addiction, lifes torn apart, and what two people can over come.
