Work in progress poem dealing with the loss of a family member
We all seem to feel numb
Not from cold or rain
The sun is shining on this mid June day

Tommy doesn't know what's going on
He keeps asking when On-kol is getting up
An-ie Marry starts to weep

I taste salt from my tears
I didn't know I was crying
They flow more freely now

The pastor finishes and we sing
The song that still tares at me
You are my sunshine

We all seem to feel numb
Not from cold or rain
The sun is shining on this mid June day
