it is a Love poem about two people just being together
Instead of roses,
Instead of gifts,
Why don't you look her in the eye
While the world floats by.

It doesn't take money,
It doesn't take pride.
Part your lips,
Time slowly slips.

Nothing on your mind,
Nothing to distract.
There is comfort in little things
and all that love brings.

Try a little tenderness
When the time is right,
When everything's a blur,
When all you see is her.
