crying all my life
As he reaches out to hold her

She cries.

As he raises his hand to scold her

She dies.

Dying slowly but only inside

She has finally lost

All of her pride.

She no longer walks

with a bounce in her step

She's waited it out

But it hasn't stopped yet.

Everyday it's always the same

Everyday she feels

this same kind of pain.

She remembers how it felt when their eyes would meet.

And loving the sound of his voice

so soft, so sweet.

That time has gone, love has past

Now she cries, thinking it was sure to last.

She holds the gun and closes her eyes

Promising herself, this is the last time that she cries.
