a poem about trying to get to know yourself.
I once heard that
you can judge a person by her purse's content
so let's see what's in mine:

A make up bag:
does that mean I'm superficial,
or afraid of showing who I truly am?

Books I've yet to read:
does that mean I'm lazy
or simply waiting for the perfect time?

An overcharged iPod:
does that show I love music
or do I detach myself from the world?

A brand new camara:
does that mean Im artistic
or fearful of forgetting the past?

A pen and paper:
does that mean I'm literate
or do I like to waste time?

I once heard that
you should never judge a person
I think i'll stick to that.
