A poem about overcoming fear.
Fear tries to control my mind,
Doubt becomes the answers I cannot find.
Pain blinds my heart,
And then they conjoin to tear me apart.
All that was promised disappears.
I am alone in the fight to slice my fears;
Trying to bring me to pieces, a favor I tend to repay.
You are not real, so there is nothing you can say.
I'll close my eyes and fall into the unknown;
Leaving the part of me in fear at the surface, alone.
