A poem that I wrote to my grandma at her funeral
Grandma is Home
Ellen Schutte

You were such a great grandma to me.
It will be very hard to let you go since I love you so much.
You have been so much more then just a grandma to me, but also a very special friend. Someone who I can tell anything and who always listens.
I miss you so much; just knowing you will never come back is hard to grasp.
Just a few days ago I was talking to you.
I know that you are in a better place now, which is comforting.
You have no more pain.
One day, when it is my time to go, I will see you again in Heaven.
