A brainstorm poem about how humans should be like my cat.
To a cat:

Pretty little cat, with your fur so soft and your nose so pink
How is it that you
A lesser being
Can sleep while fingers poke you
And little children dress you in dresses
Or overalls made for
Dolls

You look absolutely miserable
When they dress you up
Your eyes
They narrow
Your ears
They flatten
Your tail
It twitches

And yet never have you laid a single scratch among them
And yet never have you lost your temper

Maybe people should take your example
Being a more
Advanced society
Maybe we can pull it off
Maybe I can pull it off
