Here is something for lesson #6 for my poetry class.
Twilight Dance

By twilights light they come awake
Out into the grove by the evening light
In the grove Faye’s wings era decent, glow so bright

Sweet music and voice take flight into the eve
Lost as they are to the night and the melody
Lithe bodies are in thrall to the spell entwined

Dance they do, as the sweet music plays
Their little bodies sway as they dance on
The tempo quickens, their bodies respond

Respond they do, to their spell they weave
As the sun sinks, the spell begins to unbind
The grove becomes tranquil with the falling light

Darkness falling, light waning, the spell broken
Fairies take flight from the darkness of the night
Back they go on this night, to wait for next twilight
