2 seventeen year old girls dealing with the pressure of drugs, sex, and crime.
THE BEGINING:

im seventeen.

im seventeen, with more issues than a girl my age should have to handle. From drugs to love, this is my struggle to escape the grasp of my "so-called" friend.

one year ago.

my world.
my life.
my morals.
began to unravel,
when i first met my friend.

Jessie was a certified
"bad influence", but
a decent girl.
atleast she was.

With Jessie, my new best friend, at my side,
anything could happen.
needless to say,
it did.

Im new to the city.
Austin, Texas.

The city,
with no shame.
no guilt.

Walking into a shopping center
with my mother,
i see a young girl.

looks about my age.
"the age of sin", jessie soon
called it.

With a tap on the shoulder,
i turn around to find jessie.

"Hey, You would look totally hot in that skirt!"
She yelled as if
she thought i was deaf.

Speechless,
I throw my hand into the air.
"Im Kirstie. And i think its a little short!"
My first friend.

Within a few seconds,
I was in the dressing room.

Jessie asked my to come out,
to "show off the hot body that god had given me."

I open the door slowly.
Im embaressed.
My face tells all.

"OMG, Buy it."
She screamed,
"better yet, STEAL it!"

Let's just say,
It went down hill from there.

THE TRIP DOWN:

My first day of school
described in one word:
crazy.

Late, on my first
day in a new highschool.
Nice first impression, huh?

I had places to be.
It was one month since i had met
Jessie.

Best friends,
running wild
through the streets

Bad habits clinched onto my life.
for example: the famous marijuana.

Stumbling into my first period class,
Biology,
my fellow classmates stared.

I had never been judged so
quickly.

I guess i deserved it.
Bloodshot eyes and loud laughter,
not exactly a warm message saying,
"Hey guys! Nice to meet you!!"

That didnt matter,
at the time.

I had Jessie.
The greatest friend i had ever had.
She introduced me into a whole new world.
A world of fun and thrills.

My head is spinning.
i look to my right.
I look to my left.

Connor Waiys.
Staring directly at me.
I shoot him a flirty smile and think
"Damn, I wonder if he is single."
I later found out, he wasn't.
I didnt care.
