This was one of my first poems I wrote back when I was 15 or 16.
Rain

I stare into the mirror
I don't like what i see.
All i see is my biggest fear,
That you won't come for me.

Everybody hates me,
I know it for a fact.
Especially today,
When you were high on crack.

Tears slowly fill my eyes,
The anger builds and builds,
Nobody will realize,
That love can truly kill.

I've loved you for so long,
I wanted it to last.
Then you thought something wrong,
And now your life is past.

The days are dark and cold.
Confusion in the air.
Children do what they're told,
And go on without a care.

Just as water flowing,
It cannot be stopped.
I just sit here mourning,
The rain will never stop.
