This is told from the perspective of a teen girl telling her father what he has made her
Tell me,
Do you see
The real me?
Who I am on the inside?
Inside I am dark
I am cold
I have a jet black heart
I let nothing get to me
I refuse to let my emotions break free
My whole world is torn apart
Ignored by my mother
Beaten by my father
I love one
Care for a few
Hate many
And loathe you
You know who you are
You know i speak to you
Did you seriously think
I would put up with this abuse
As I grew older
Grew colder
I am  product of hatred
A product of greed
Raised on foolish pride
And deceit
I live on broken dreams
Feed on my anger
Ha, you think you know me?
No, I am a stranger
