This is a poem that describes how it would be without hope in the world.
All hope is lost,
Might as well give up,
Nothing left but fear.

The teardrops come,
Nothing to calm them.
The fear drags you down,
Like and iron chain holding you back

Your shadow leaves you,
You're all alone,
No one there for you.

Hope is the forgotten word,
One of ancient times,
That even the oldest don't recall,

The fear closes in on you,
Weighing your shoulders down,
You struggle,
But it only becomes heavier.
Only hope can lift it,
But all hope is lost.
Along with the good times,
Tucked away,
Never to be found,
Is the only place hope still dwells.

The world is black,
Darkened by fear
Just curl up and wait for death.
