People like you are the reason, people like him are the cause.
You walk these halls like they are yours
Like they belong to you and you decide what goes
But this isn’t your school
And you don’t even know
You’re clueless as to the real world
Because you are stuck in your own head
You don’t my name or anyone else’s
That isn’t your so called friends
Even though they are so fake
You too and everyone can see it
You torture them and you don’t even care
When you hurt someone who you say doesn’t fit
But I take not fitting in with you as a good thing
When you take someone and bend them till they break
When they finally loose it
And have had all they can take
Decide enough’s enough
When they wake up the next morning with a plan
Get sick of you and your ways
Gather all their friends
This won’t be many according to you
Because he is a dork and all the other things you’ve said
Do you remember all of it
I think you will when he puts the gun to your head
Only then you will apologize
When it’s way too late
When you are scared for your life
With a gun pointed at your face
You had torn him down for the last time
After years and years of hatred every single day
I am not saying he is right
Yet I can see why he did, what he felt, he thought was the only way
You didn’t have to be his best friend
You didn’t even have to talk to him
But you know what you did wrong
Unfortunately for the both of you this is the end
You can’t change this now
But maybe someone else will learn the lesson
People like you, the ones who join in and follow
The ones that stand laughing, the ones who see what is happening but still do nothing
Maybe they will never see it
Perhaps they will be like you and wait
Keep on terrorizing those to scared to defend themselves
They may never learn until it’s too late
I will just continue watching my back
For those like you and see if history keeps repeating itself
Just a little different each time
Have hope that some will break the cycle and change in the time left
I’ll sit at what you called the loser table
With people who in my eyes are amazing
Won’t be ashamed of my good grades, that I read, or study
I will make it though without being the one who brings the weapon or the reason
And I will see the future him getting harassed by the future you
I will try to talk to him but probably won’t get through
It’s too late for him
Because of people like you
