poem on silence
Silence

The night was tranquil,
hushed and serene;
dark and void,
a negative stream.

The stillness lay heavy,
the solitude deep;
empty and listening
yet full of peace.

The glittering stars
a distant heat,
pulsating quiet,
the silence, complete.
