My take on ragnarock. Just a little poem.
Some day, far from now, a man will walk with me.
We find ourselves preocupied, discusions of a tree.
No willow tree, nor birch, nor oak, but ash this tree will be.
Then I predict, that day from now, he asks a task of me.

This task it seems, will be so great, and I will think he jests.
He speaks to me of bravery, and all who pass his test.
Then he claps me on the arm, and wishes me the best.

The man who walks away from me, I once had thought a myth.
Like ravens taking to the sky, perceptions start to shift.
The eye he gave so willingly, seems like a precious gift.
On Sleipnir's back the horses gait, the old man rides so swift.

The talismen I've carried far, with me since I was young.
My Valknut bright, around my neck where it has always hung.
The strings might break, might tear and rip, but I had always brung.
The symbol of my Faith, around my neck it hung.

You may doubt the faith, the father and the wolf.
How Loki brings the darkness, the moons that fenris took.
Believe it of me now, at the closing of the book.
As the mighty clash above, the mere mortals left to look.
As the great thors weapons clash, and the mighty earth is shook.

As the great horns call is heard, as ragnarock begins.
Be proud my fellow mortals, be proud my race of men.
As the sacred tree is broken, in the clashes of the wind.
The mortal's blows will fall, in that epic fight, The End
