Sometimes a person doesn't know how much little things mean.
The storm slams into the helpless shore
This feeling could last forever more
I take the meds, I talk it out
I sometimes feel there’s no way out

What help have I to endure this pain?
Will I ever be happy and free again?
I ask for help, I look around
But noone to help me me can be found

I live this life, day in, day out
Without the ability to scream or shout
I wake up one morning and at my feet
My best friend is waiting, to hang out and go eat

The day is spend in a beat up car
In the course of the evening we will go pretty far
All is forgotten, that was in my head
Hating the world, wishing I was dead

For a moment in time, peace I have found
I knew there was a reason I kept him around
I go to bed dreaming more positive dreams
I don’t think he knows just how much it means
