A short poem I wrote about the falling of the Great Wall of Ascalon (Guild Wars).
---The Falling of the Great Wall---

Spears shatter,
Shields break,
Lives lost,
Earth shakes.

Blood runs,
Sweat drips,
Bones crushed,
Clothes rip.

Someone yells,
"Not One Step Back",
The line holds,
Against another attack.

Swords clang,
Axes chip,
Men fall,
The line splits.

Dust flies,
Years pass,
Revenge comes swiftly,
Finally...at last.
