A bride muses over an arranged marriage.
The glass lies broken
Apologies unspoken
I watch my world sliced
In parts around my ears

Doomed to end unhappily
These vows are just formality
I watch my words spliced
To bind our deepest fears

So protect what once was true
A real love we never knew
In this rhapsody my heart
Pauses momentarily

Something that cannot be undone
An action from which you cannot run
This sorry union is my last
Action of insincerity
