for cor contest
I thought the pain would soon be gone
That fight was my fight, mine to be won
I gave life time to work it's plan
And let it hold and guide my hand
I waited for the clues and signs
Watched it mold with cruel design
I felt the laughter crash in my veins
I felt seconds scream like rain
I asked for time to hurry fast
The future someday soon will past
Locking the doors of my regrets
So death escapes with the sun set
Exploding thoughts of someday soon
Cleansing pain with evenings moon
Let this day's grasp of homeless tears
Be thrown behind my wall of years
All the ways in which I've grown
And all the lessons I've been shown
Will postulate my faith unfrowned
Unless my someday is never found
