Just something summarizing my feelings about life at the ripe old age of 24.
Laughing at the darkness

Standing out in the cold,
I could use a drink.
A smoke.
A fuck.

No job, no hope, no future.
The world could end in 12 minutes
or 40 billion years.

Doing it my way is a hard way
but it's the only way I know.

Getting lost in fantasy is fun
but the world doesn't work like that
and we're all ordinary folks,
background characters in our own lives.

Fuck you, humanity.
Fuck you, universe.

But I'm still here
and tomorrow is another day
and there are a million tomorrows.

Can't keep me down for long.
I'm still here, laughing at the darkness.
