comparison of life to satin ribbon
Life is like satin ribbon
slipping through my fingers,
As I try to grip on,
wanting it to just linger.
When I tack it down
to hold it still,
Momentarily, I frown
for I see it will
start to fray,
I cannot hold it,
so I let it go, as it slips away.
Life, just mold it!
