A broad perspective on life, questioning the cliche "better safe than sorry."
everybody draws a line from point A to point B
but nobody goes the same way in between
while some end up crooked and finish far too fast
others stay straight and steady, never taking a chance
because you can't fall if you keep your feet on the ground

I could watch the stars from a distance and be buried with my "what if's"
but I'll reach for the sky and at the very least, be able to say that I tried
because there's no correlation between precision and perfection.
and when you can look back and say you wouldn't erase a thing
every bend and blank you drew was a step in the right direction

I climbed down this ladder
starless and empty handed
I wouldn't erase a thing
