Poetry brought on by grief of losing a loved one.
People tell me
That no matter what you do
Someone will always be there for you
That’s what they told me
And what a fool I was to have believed it

We all dream
We all fantasize
We watch our steps through another’s eyes

But have you ever
Delusionized
And found a nightmare
Death and cries?

My essence is gone
My spirit astray
Because of a cloud
That shaded my day

Samskaras still chase me
Reminding me so
If the delight and fidelity
That had once made me glow

But though my reflection
My reminiscence may smile
I am filled with enmity
Repugnance, denial

I pine to be spellbound
By your kiss once more
I want you to fix
The heart that you tore

It sits alone
Omitted, valueless
In anguish, it sinks
Because of a chance it did miss

The sparkle, vitality
Essence and soul
Is falling, fading
Slipping through the dark hole

I Surrender…to affinity, to warmth, to love…gone wrong
