A poem dedicated to my son.
My beautiful boy

Your hair-
golden, like honey.
A swirl of curls.
September sunshine.

Your eyes-
as blue and wide as the sky.
Taking it all in.

Your laugh-
unexpected, like sunshine
in February.
Full of joy.

Your temper-
shocking like lightning.
Quick and fiery.
A sudden tropical storm
that clears the air.

You changed my life.
You changed my mind.
You break my heart,
every day.

My beautiful boy.
