A thank you for stopping.

A thank you for your smile.

A thank you !

...where did you go... off down the road and never asked for a thing except; do you need help?.

I feel yes, there is such a thing as a selfless act, I've done it on more than one occasion.

The phrase; pay it forward comes to mind. I have been helped many time's and was not asked, nor even implied of such.

I help people every day some people call this work
I call it life
maybe even fun.



It's the little thing's; a smile or thank you for holding a door.

If recieving a thank you or a smile is a concern to oneself; I'm in trouble.
it is an unselfish act to change a tire or to help a stranger. As far as a dictionary term goes.
