Those unpleasant but unavoidable duties.
Intent. Intense. Her eyes, two round suns blazing at me. The rest of her is indiscernible from the shadows. I try not to look at her, not to acknowledge her. I turn in my chair just a little, it's no good. I can feel her staring. Sighing I give in and clean the litter box.
