The age old question....
Swift as a breeze
Part of the sky
A handsome young man
Granted the wings to fly

Never taken for granted
This special gift
Helping others when he can
Giving spirits a lift

But one day lightning
Suddenly strikes him down
Now he is thrown from the sky
Left wounded on the ground

Now he can do even less
Than a normal person could
For everytine he looked
To the sky he would

Remember what it was like
To soar through the sky
And could only realize his new limits
And wish he could die

But what we must wonder
After this hero's fall:
Is it really better to have loved and lost
Than to have never loved at all?
